2010 Ornament Exchange

Join the 2010 SweetChics Home Decor Ornament Exchange. Send me your name & address by Nov 1st, and on Nov 3rd I will send you your ornament buddy. Basically you pick an ornament of your choosing, and create a care package, valued at no more than $20, unless you absolutely want to do more. You send your buddy the package, and in turn, someone will send you one! This is a ton of fun, and something to look forward to! Packages need to be mailed no later than Dec 1st, to ensure that everyone gets their gifts prior to the hectic part of the holidays! Find me on facebook under SweetChics Home Decor, or email me.

Thanks!

Scentsy Give-away

I came across this girl doing a scentsy giveaway, and just HAD to enter!!! I love this stuff so much, and it's a huge source of relaxation for me. PLUS! since we are moving into our first home here in the next couple weeks, what better way than to make it smell good! Check out her blog : http://www.staciandsean.blogspot.com
Scentsy is amazing, and only requires you to simply plug in a burner, no more leaving candles accidentally lit! My favorite scent is Oxford!

Pin-ups for Sarah

I bought this clearanced frame at Tuesday Morning for 25 cents... YES only 25 cents, it was missing a couple decorative pieces, but overall- in great shape. I knew I could do something great with this, and wanted a cool gift for my friend Sarah, that has been helping me out with my son while I'm at work.

Here's how it started out... a girly purple

This is out of the packaging

I added about 4 coats of black craft paint with a sponge brush, to cover up the purple/flowers

I have a box of retro pinup girls from a tear away calendar. I found 3 that I liked, then cut them to size, and Modge Podged them into the squares.

Pretty cool decor for only 25 cents!!

Welcome to my new blog! For those who appreciate homemade talent!

I apologize for this being sideways, but I just wanted to post a quick picture of one of the things I have made recently.
If you are interested, these are completely custom, you will never find another like it. I will give you a price quote, and I offer discounts on 2 or more!
